Academics
Future Kids – Our students have benefited immensely from Future Kids, sponsored by TQ Group. It consists of both e-learning and e-teaching material from Grade 1 – 7 and covers the entire CAPS curriculum for all subjects per term. The programme has allowed our students to reach new academic hights.
Special Needs – The passionate staff at the Learning Centre have been trained to assess, work with and understand children with special needs. Each student is given the personal attention they require to be the best they can be. The integration of these students into the school ecosystem is crucial for the future functioning of our society and the goal of equal education for all.
ECD – As educators we understand the importance of Early Childhood Development. Children’s first learning experiences have a critical impact on their future physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. At Gelukwaarts we focus on protecting and developing students as we get them ‘school-ready’.
Foundation Phase – In this phase we focus on building a child’s foundation in reading and writing, and we introduce thinking skills.
Intermediate Phase – In this phase we focus on stimulating social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
Senior Phase – In this crucial phase we support and guide students to realise their interests and aptitude for various subjects as they start making essential choices that will affect their future.
